Love vs. Cancer

Today, some of our blanket recipients shared some thoughts and photos with us that we would like to pass along to all of you. As happy as I was to receive these kind words and pictures, it reminds me of why we're doing this. Each day, there are people fighting for their lives. The toll this can take on a patient as well as their family can be sometimes overwhelming. A random act of kindness such as receiving a blanket can turn ones day around. Thank you for taking time out of your days and nights to be a part of this project. You really are making a difference.

Not the best way to spend Valentines Day, but at least she felt the love from all of the Pink Warriors! Maryanne thanks you all from the bottom of her heart! She was the talk of the infusion room today at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia with her awesome new Project Chemo Crochet blanket.

Tom and his family would like to extend their thanks for all of the Pink Warrior support. The afghan is a perfect fit!
