Can't Crochet? Donate!
To all those that do not have the time or patience to learn how to crochet but would still like to contribute to the Pink Warriors efforts in the battle against cancer, you can donate to the Pink Warriors Relay for Life team. Relay for Life is a 24 hour relay walk where survivors, caregivers, family, and friends come together to remember loved ones, honor survivors, and fight back against all cancers. The funds raised go to the American Cancer Society, an amazing organization that ACTUALLY helps victims and their families as well as help fund research programs.
The American Cancer Society personally helped my mom and I when we were looking for programs to help pay her medical bills and receive volunteer help when things began to get a difficult on our own. We will be walking June 14-15th in honor and memory of my mother, Gloria Marianne Dow, who lost her 11 month battle with breast cancer on November 6, 2012. Thank you for your continued support!
